What Happens If My Vehicle Fails?
If your vehicle does not pass, the required repairs must be completed before you can renew the registration.
You may choose any suitably qualified mechanic to complete the repairs.
When repairs are completed within 14 days, contact us to arrange the required reassessment. Reinspection conditions depend on NSW requirements and the original inspection provider.

How much does a mobile pink slip cost?
The current NSW light-vehicle safety inspection fee is $52 including GST. A separate mobile call-out or travel fee may apply. We confirm the total price before your appointment.
Can you guarantee my vehicle will pass?
No. The vehicle must meet the applicable NSW safety standards. A pass cannot be guaranteed before the inspection.
What happens when defects are found?
The examiner will identify the relevant defects. The repairs must be completed before the vehicle can pass and registration can be renewed.
Is a mobile pink slip the same as a blue slip?
No. A pink slip is generally used for registration renewal safety checks. A blue slip is a more detailed inspection commonly required for unregistered vehicles, interstate vehicles or vehicles whose registration has expired for more than three months.
Can you inspect LPG or CNG vehicles?
Please tell us when booking if your vehicle uses LPG or CNG so we can confirm whether the appropriate authorised examiner is available.
